School Holiday: There is a relief news for school students. Due to heavy rains, holiday has been declared in all government and private schools in Jammu Kashmir and Mumbai, Thane and Palghar of Maharashtra today on Tuesday. District Disaster Management Authority (BMC) has also declared holiday in all government, private and municipal schools and colleges of Mumbai (city and suburbs). Onam is a famous festival of Kerala which will be celebrated from 26 to 28 August. There may be holiday in many districts of Kerala.

In view of Urs-e-Ala Hazrat in Bareilly, UP, on August 19 and 20, there will be a holiday in Islamia Girls Inter College, FR Islamia Inter College, Kasturba Nagar Nigam Girls Inter College, Khalil Uma Vidyalaya, SV Inter College, DAV Kalicharan Uma Vidyalaya, Rambharose Lal Girls Inter College, Tilak Inter College, PM Shri Government Inter College and Government Girls Inter College.
