Schools closed: Keeping in mind the crowd of Kanwar Yatra in the month of Sawan and the safety of the students, holiday has been declared in schools of many districts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In this, schools will remain closed till 23 July in many districts and till 2 August in some districts. However, in some districts, it has been decided to keep the school closed every Monday.
School holiday has been declared in Kasganj, UP today on the second Monday of Sawan. During this, there will be route diversion on Mathura-Bareilly highway. In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, holiday has been declared for students in all government and non-government schools operating in the municipal corporation area today on Monday 21 July. Due to heavy rains in Pauri district of Uttarakhand on Monday, there will be holiday in all government, semi-government and private schools (from class 1 to 12) and all Anganwadi centers.
Know till when will schools remain closed in which district of UP
In Badaun, holiday has been declared on every Saturday and Monday (19 to 21 July, 26 to 28 July and 2 to 4 August from 1 to 12) in all council, recognized, aided and schools run by all boards from class one to eight. However, teachers and other staff will be present as per rules. If any examination or other activity is already scheduled in any school, then it will be postponed and the next date will be fixed.
It has been decided to close all educational institutions in Meerut, Hapur, Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar districts till July 23 in view of Kanwar Yatra. Apart from UP Board, the order will also be applicable on schools recognized by CBSE and ICSE Board. If government and non-government schools are found open, action will be taken. Basic Education Department, Secondary Education Department as well as degree colleges will also remain closed during this period. There is also a holiday in degree colleges and technical institutes of Meerut.
Holidays have been declared on every Monday of Sawan in all schools and colleges in Bareilly district. In Varanasi, it has been decided to keep all schools closed on Monday and open on Sunday.
In view of the Kanwar Yatra in Amroha, District Magistrate Nidhi Gupta Vats has declared a holiday on 21st and 22nd July in all council, recognized, non-government aided schools from class one to eight. Apart from this, there will be a holiday on 21st July in secondary schools and technical institutes.
Holidays have been declared on 21st, 22nd and 23rd July in schools in Bulandshahr due to the Kanwar Yatra.
Schools closed till July 23 in these districts of Uttarakhand
In view of the Kanwar Yatra, all schools located in the Municipal Corporation area of Dehradun, Haripur, Raiwala, Pratit Nagar, Shyampur and on the highway will remain closed on 21, 22 and 23 July. In this regard, the Additional District Magistrate has issued orders through the Disaster Management Authority.
In view of the upcoming Shravan Kanwar Yatra 2025 in Haridwar district, it has been decided to keep all educational institutions closed till July 23. This holiday will be applicable to all types of educational institutions falling under Haridwar district. During this time all government and private schools up to class 12th, all degree colleges and university technical and technical institutes and all Anganwadi centers will remain closed.
In view of the Kanwar Yatra in Yamkeshwar development block of Pauri district, the District Administration Pauri has declared holiday in the schools and Anganwadi centers of the Yatra area till July 23. This order will also be effective in all private schools falling in this periphery.
