When will Diwali holidays begin in which state?
Rajasthan: Holidays will be from October 13th to 24th due to Diwali. This means students will benefit from a total of 12 holidays.
Chhattisgarh: Diwali holidays (a total of 6 days) will be from October 20th to 25th, 2025. Sunday, October 26th will be a weekly holiday, and schools will reopen on Monday, October 27th.
Bihar: According to the school calendar, schools will be closed from October 20th to 29th, 2025, due to Dhanteras/Deepawali/Chitragupta Puja/Bhai Dooj/Chhath Puja.
Madhya Pradesh: Schools and colleges will be closed from October 18th to 23rd.
Haryana: Many schools will be closed from October 17th to 23rd, while some will have holidays from October 19th to 23rd. Some schools in Gurugram will be closed from October 17th (Friday) to October 26th (Monday), and private schools in Faridabad will be closed from October 19th (Sunday) to October 23rd (Thursday).
