School Holidays: All schools closed in these states due to heavy rains, high alert issued

School Holidays in July: Heavy rain alert has been issued in many parts of the country. IMD has predicted very heavy rains in Mumbai. It is being told that on July 8, there will be a 4.40 meter high tide in the sea around 1.57 pm. Taking precautions in this situation, holiday has been declared in all BMC schools, government schools and private schools and colleges located in Mumbai. The state’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has issued a statement regarding the heavy rains in Maharashtra and especially in Mumbai (Heavy Rains Alert). He told the media that there has been a lot of rain in Mumbai today, due to which traffic and railway tracks are flooded. In this situation, all emergency services have been put on high alert. Photos of Mumbai’s rain are also trending on social media. There are flood-like conditions in most of the areas there.

Schools Closed in UP: Yellow alert for rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh

It has been raining heavily in many districts of Uttar Pradesh for 4-5 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in 10 districts including eastern UP. At the same time, light to moderate rain has been predicted in more than 40 districts. Classes up to class 8 have been postponed in all schools located in Bareilly, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Schools will remain closed here till July 9 (UP School Holidays). An order to keep schools closed can be issued in other districts also in view of the rain.

Schools Closed in Uttarakhand: Disaster in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh

A red alert has been issued for heavy rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. In view of the rain, many district magistrates have ordered holidays in schools and Anganwadi centers. The Dehradun District Magistrate has canceled the leave of important employees and officers of all departments related to disaster and relief work in view of heavy rains in the monsoon season. The Char Dham Yatra has also been affected due to rain in the hilly areas.
