Students’ expectations from the budget

On the other hand, students are excited about the budget to be presented by the government. They have a lot of expectations from the budget. Students say that apart from education, health and other things, the budget should be made keeping in mind the bright future of girls. Along with this, the number of teachers should also increase in schools so that students do not have to face the problems of teachers this year.

There are around 900 government, middle schools in the district while there are more than 12 degree colleges. In such a situation, the state government should also keep in mind the central government’s Beti Padhao-Beti Bachao scheme during the budget.

There should be provision of separate buses for girl students: Sneha, a resident of Dhora, says that thousands of girl students come and go to Yamunanagar for studies every day. Due to lack of proper arrangement of buses, they are forced to travel in the crowd. Chailsi, a second year student of Mass Communication, says that there should be a provision of government colleges in urban areas in the budget. Due to high fees in private colleges, daughters of poor families are deprived of education.
