The situation is such that a dry cold wave is currently prevailing in many states. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in several states. In view of this, the cold is expected to increase, and in view of this, all schools in Uttar Pradesh have been completely closed until January 5th. For example, classes for 12th-grade students will not be held. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions in this regard.

CM Yogi has issued instructions to officials regarding the increasing cold, under which all schools in the state have been ordered to remain closed until January 5th. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all schools in the state, including those run by the UP Board and ICSE-CBSE, will remain closed until January 5. This means that all schools up to grade 12 will remain closed until January 5.
Winter vacation in UP continues until January 15th, with extra classes for 12th-grade students.
Winter vacation is currently ongoing in schools across Uttar Pradesh. While some schools ended their winter vacation on January 1st, most schools in the state have declared winter vacation until January 15th. However, in schools that have declared winter vacation until January 15th, extra classes are being conducted for 12th-grade board students. For example, 12th-grade board students are required to attend extra classes to prepare for CBSE and UP Board exams. Following CM Yogi Adityanath’s directive, extra classes for 12th-grade students will no longer be held.
Winter vacation was originally declared in schools across Uttar Pradesh from January 25th. Some schools declared winter vacation until January 1st, while others have declared winter vacation until January 15th.
