Scored 20 centuries, took coaching from Dravid, yet Kohli does not like it! Not giving chance in Team India by saying the batting technique is bad

After the injury to Shubman Gill, the team management is asking for a new opener but the selectors are not sending anyone. He says that Team India has a sufficient number of openers.

The Indian team is on a tour of England and has to play a five-match Test series from August 4. But before this series, a new ruckus is going on in Team India. After the injury of opener Shubman Gill, the team management and chief selector Chetan Sharma are not unanimous about the reserve opener. Captain Virat Kohli wants Prithvi Shaw and Devdutt Padikkal to be sent in place of Gill. But the chief selector believes that the Indian team already has three openers in the form of Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul and Abhimanyu Easwaran, which is enough. Now the team management here is questioning Easwaran’s ability. He believes that he is not fit to play in England. So what are the complaints of the management of Team India about Abhimanyu Easwaran and how has this player been performing.

According to the news of PTI, the team management is not convinced about Abhimanyu Easwaran’s technique. He believes that this batsman does not have the technology to play in England. There are reports that he is not even able to face Team India’s throwdown specialist Raghavendra during training. Because of this he is not ready for Test cricket yet. In such a situation, Virat Kohli, head coach Ravi Shastri and the rest of the management want Prithvi Shaw and Devdutt Padikkal to be sent as options. But people associated with the selection committee believe that Easwaran should not be judged only on the basis of throwdown. Anyway, he has gone as a reserve. First of all, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul should get a chance.

Now if Abhimanyu Easwaran’s game is seen, then he has scored a total of 20 centuries in his career so far. Under this, he has scored 13 in First Class, six in List A and one century in T20 cricket. This 25-year-old player is the captain of Bengal. He has scored 4401 runs in first class cricket at an average of 43.57. He has scored 2875 runs at an average of 48.72 in List A and 471 runs in T20s at an average of 33.64.

Abhimanyu Easwaran made his first-class debut at the age of 18. Then due to the brilliant game, he became the captain of Bengal at the age of 23. In the last season of Ranji Trophy, the Bengal team reached the final under his leadership but had to face defeat at the hands of Saurashtra. Abhimanyu’s name has come in a lot of discussion in the last 2-3 years only. Right-handed batsman Abhimanyu has earned a lot of name due to his durable innings in longer formats.

Abhimanyu Easwaran was the highest run-scorer for Bengal in the 2018-19 Ranji season. He had scored 861 runs in just 6 matches. During this, his average was more than 95 and 3 centuries came from his bat. Since then, he has been considered a contender to make a place in Team India. He has also been a part of India A and has played some amazing innings here as well. He has also taken tips from Rahul Dravid. After this, he was also kept with Team India in India’s home Test series against England. Now the tour of England was also taken for the same reason. But the team management is not ready to feed them.
