Search for your lost mobile with Google

In the Android mobile phone you have lost or stolen, the Gmail running on it is logged on any system. After logging in Gmail, click on your profile photo in the circular circle appearing on the right side. You will find a link written in blue with a Google account. After clicking this link, link to the security from the options on the left. After that scroll down on the page which will open and go down.



On going down, you will see the option of Your Devices on the left side. Below this, you will have the option to find your lost or stolen phone (Find a Lost or Stolen Phone). After clicking this link, click on the device (mobile phone) you have lost. After this you will be asked to log in again. On logging in to the Find Your Phone page, you will find a blue ring and Locate option next to your lost device.

As soon as you click on the locale, you will see the location of your lost mobile on Google Map. You can reach there, tracing that location. You can also ring the bell on your mobile by clicking on the ring. Even if you are mobile silent, the bell will start ringing in the mobile. However, it is necessary that you have a mobile on and internet is running. The sooner the search for a phone is started in this manner, the greater the chance of getting it.



To delete data from mobile,

click on the option of Consider Erasing Your Device at the bottom of Find Your Page. After this, by clicking on Yes, Erase option, you can protect all your confidential data and photos etc. from your lost device. If you have prepared a backup of your data in advance, then most of the data deleted through Google account will be recovered. If the backup is not prepared in advance, the data in your mobile can be lost forever. By clicking on the Sign out on your phone option on the same page, you can also delete your Gmail account from the lost mobile.
