Holi Eid Lucknow Police: Section 163 has been implemented in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The police administration has taken this step in view of Holi, Alvida Namaz, Chaitra Navratri, Eid, and other festivals and entrance examinations and protests. According to Lucknow Police, Section 163 (formerly Section 144) has been implemented in the capital from March 14 to May 12.
After its implementation, shooting with drone cameras will not be allowed around the Chief Minister’s residence, Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Sabha and other government offices in Lucknow. At the same time, violating section 163 will be a punishable offense under section 223 and other relevant sections. Lucknow Police informed that many important festivals, programs and various entrance examinations are to be organized between March and May.
No permission to stage dharna
Due to this, no dharna of any kind will be allowed at any place other than the designated dharna site (Eco Garden) without permission. Also, during this period, shooting with drone cameras will not be allowed in the no-flying zone around government offices, Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister’s residence and Vidhan Bhavan. During this period, there will be a complete ban on carrying tractors, tractor-trolleys, horse carts, bullock carts, buffalo carts, tanga carts and fire-related equipment, flammable substances, lethal substances and weapons.
These rules within the limits of Lucknow
Similarly, organizing events without permission within the limits of Lucknow, which may affect law and order, will be banned. Also, carrying sharp-edged weapons, inflammable substances, weapons and burning effigies at public places, spreading rumors will be banned. Along with this, delivery companies have also been asked to get their employees verified at the time of appointment.
Rules regarding tenants
No landlord will be able to rent a room without getting the tenant police verified. If this does not happen and the employee or tenant commits a crime and it is not confirmed, then in that case action will be taken against the company and the landlord.
