Sim Active Plan: Only calling is available in these plans of Jio and Airtel, this plan is best for keeping the sim active

New Delhi. After the tariff hike, Reliance Jio and Airtel have introduced new prepaid plans, which are specifically focused on voice and SMS. These plans, introduced in response to TRAI’s instructions, meet the basic needs of the users. These plans are best for those who want to keep the SIM active at a low price.

Jio’s voice-SMS plan

Reliance Jio has introduced two plans to meet the basic needs. The Rs 458 plan offers unlimited voice calls and 1000 SMS for 84 days, which is the best option for users who focus only on calling without the need for data.

For users looking for a plan with long term validity, Jio offers a plan for a year’s validity for Rs 1958. It offers unlimited voice calls and 3600 SMS. Both plans are data-free, focusing entirely on voice and SMS.

Airtel’s voice plan

On the other hand, Airtel has introduced four prepaid plans. The Rs 499 plan offers unlimited voice calls and 900 SMS for 84 days, which is similar to Jio’s Rs 458 plan, but with a higher SMS limit. Apart from this, Airtel offers a Rs 548 plan, which includes 7GB data, unlimited calls and 900 SMS for 84 days, which allows users to use the Internet occasionally.

Airtel’s new long-term plan offers unlimited calls, SMS and data for heavy users. Airtel’s Rs 1959 plan, which is designed for long-term users, is similar to Jio’s Rs 1958 plan, which offers unlimited calls and 3600 SMS for 365 days.

For heavy users, Airtel also offers a Rs 2249 plan that offers 30GB data, unlimited calls and 3600 SMS for 365 days.

Jio vs Airtel: Voice Plan Summary
