Sleeper Vande Bharat: By now almost all the states in the country have received their Vande Bharat trains. Last year on December 30, PM Modi had flagged off Vande Bharat trains on six more routes from Ayodhya. This also includes Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Terminal and Katra to Delhi Vande Bharat trains. Now Railways is going to run sleeper Vande Bharat trains in the coming days. These trains can be started in the initial months of this year.
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, Rajasthan may get the gift of the first sleeper Vande Bharat train. Sleeper Vande Bharat train can run between Jodhpur to Delhi and Mumbai route. This train will prove to be very beneficial for passengers traveling long distances. Actually, the Vande Bharat currently running has AC chair cars and executive class coaches, in which passengers travel sitting. Now people will be able to travel by sleeper Vande Bharat for long distance journeys.
According to the report, some work is currently going on on the Delhi-Mumbai route, which can be completed in one and a half months. After this, sleeper Vande Bharat train can start from March. Many important features have been provided in the train bogies. Comfortable stairs have been made to climb up. The coach will have features like automatic doors, vacuum toilets, intercommunication doors etc. Apart from this, the train has been provided with a better suspension system. The maximum speed of this train can be 160 kilometers per hour.
