Smart Meter: If electricity consumers in Bihar have not recharged their smart prepaid meter for the last three months, then recharge it immediately. The electricity department informed the customers by messaging
“Dear consumer, your electricity connection has not been recharged for the last three months. Please recharge within the next 15 days, otherwise your connection will be permanently disconnected under Section 7.6 of BESC, 2007 and legal action will be taken to recover the outstanding amount. If you have recharged, ignore this information.”
1.50 lakh consumers have not recharged for three months
