The Railways has announced special trains for passengers traveling from Gujarat to Bihar, which will run weekly. These trains will run between Sabarmati-Patna and Rajkot-Barauni. Let’s find out the complete schedule…
Special trains have been announced for passengers during the festive season, which will run from Gujarat to Bihar. Railways said that keeping in mind the convenience of passengers during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festival season, Western Railway has decided to run weekly festival special trains between Sabarmati-Patna and Rajkot-Barauni at special fares.
Train No. 09427/09428 Sabarmati-Patna-Sabarmati Weekly Special (18 Trips) Train No. 09427 Sabarmati-Patna Special will depart from Sabarmati every Wednesday from 01 October 2025 to 26 November 2025 at 18:10 hrs and will reach Patna at 01:00 hrs on the third day. Similarly, Train No. 09428 Patna-Sabarmati Special will depart from Patna every Friday from October 3, 2025, to November 28, 2025, at 04:40 hrs and arrive at Sabarmati at 09:55 hrs the next day.
Enroute, in both directions, the train will stop at Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Idgah, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur. This train will have AC 3-tier (Humsafar) class coaches.
Train No. 09569/09570 Rajkot-Barauni-Rajkot (Weekly) Special (18 Trips)Train No. 09569 Rajkot-Barauni Special will depart from Rajkot every Thursday from 02 October 2025 to 27 November 2025 at 17.00 hrs and will reach Barauni at 05.00 hrs on the third day. Similarly, Train No. 09570 Barauni-Rajkot Special will depart from Barauni every Saturday from 04 October 2025 to 29 November 2025 at 14.40 hrs and will reach Rajkot at 04.40 hrs on the third day.
The train will stop at Wankaner, Surendranagar, Chandlodia-B, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Idgah, Tundla, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Sonpur, Hajipur, and Shahpur Patori stations in both directions. The train will have AC 2-tier and AC 3-tier coaches.
