SSC CGL Exam 2025 Postponed:The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced on Friday, August 8 that the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGLE) 2025 has been postponed. The SSC CGL exam was originally scheduled to begin from August 13, which has now been postponed. Now the exam will start in the first week of September and the revised schedule of CGL and other upcoming examinations will be uploaded soon on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission.
According to the SSC, an analysis of the logs of all the shifts held till August 2 has identified about 55 thousand candidates whose data has some discrepancy. On this basis, the commission has decided that these candidates will be given another chance to appear for the exam on Friday, August 29, 2025.
This decision regarding the SSC CGL exam has been taken by the commission due to shifting to a new model of computer based examinations (CBE). This change has been made as per the direction of the Supreme Court (Writ Petition (Civil) No. 234/2018). Under this process, recently in the Selection Post Phase-13 examination (24 July to 1 August), for the first time, Aadhaar based authentication system was implemented for both the candidates and the staff. The commission clarified that new dates will be announced in this regard soon and the candidates will be informed in due time. The Staff Selection Commission did a detailed exam result analysis.
