SSC Exam Schedule 2026: If you’re also looking for government jobs, important information has arrived for you in the new year. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official schedule for all its major recruitment exams scheduled for early 2026. It also includes the dates for the SSC CGL, MTS, and GD Constable recruitment exams. Candidates preparing for government jobs have been waiting for this schedule for a long time. Let’s find out when each exam will be held.
SSC CGL 2025 (Tier-II) Schedule
The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-II exam will begin in January. On the first day, January 18, 2026, the Skill Test (DEST) will be conducted under Section IV of Paper-I. This will be a computer-based test. The next day, January 19, 2026, the core subjects exam will be held, which will include questions on Mathematics, Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Computer Science. Statistics Paper-II will also be held on the same day.
SSC MTS and Havildar Exam
The written examination for the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havildar positions will be held in February. The exam will begin on February 4, 2026. Candidates applying for the exam will be able to choose their preferred exam time starting January 15, 2026.
SSC GD Constable Exam 2026
The Commission has also announced dates for those applying for Constable (GD) positions in the Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Assam Rifles. According to the Commission, the exam may begin on February 23, 2026. This date is tentative at present; the final date will be announced later.
Delhi Police Constable Admit Card
The SSC has released the admit cards for the remaining candidates for the Delhi Police Constable (Executive) Exam 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in. The complete recruitment schedule can also be downloaded from there.
