Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar is no more, said goodbye to the world at the age of 92

New Delhi: Very sad news for the cinema world. Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar, who has made a place in the hearts of people with her melodious voice for many decades, has passed away. Lata ji said goodbye to the world at the age of 92.

Was hospitalized for 27 days

Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar was admitted at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai since January 8 after being infected with Kovid. Lata ji was constantly under the supervision of doctors in the ICU. Although her health was also improving. She was even kept on ventilator for a few days and then later removed from the ventilator. But suddenly her health deteriorated again and was put on the ventilator again. But suddenly today the news of her death came which shook everyone.

A team of five doctors was engaged in treatment

A team of five doctors was engaged in the hospital to take care of Lata Mangeshkar. Talking to a private channel, Dr Pratima Samdani said that Lata Mangeshkar had developed pneumonia along with corona.

Had a nice dinner on 16th January

According to media reports, Lata didi had dinner properly for the first time on the night of 16 January after being admitted to the hospital. After this, had breakfast well the next day.

More than 5,000 sung songs

Lata Mangeshkar has sung in more than a thousand Hindi films and 36 regional films. In all, she has lent her voice to more than 5,000 songs. In so many years, Lata didi has lent her voice from Madhubala to Priyanka Chopra.

Took over the family after the death of the father

Lata Mangeshkar’s father died in the year 1942. Being an eldest child, all the burden of the family fell on Lata ji’s shoulders. After which Lata ji offered her a role in the film Badi Maa by her father’s friend Master Vinayak, for which she came to Mumbai. Along with this, Lata ji learned Hindustani music from Ustad Aman Ali Khan. Lata didi has worked with many legend music directors in her career. In which Madan Mohan, RD Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and AR Rahman are included.
