T20 World Cup 2026: The groups for the T20 World Cup 2026 are almost finalized. Twenty teams will participate in the tournament, divided into five-team groups. This grouping is already finalized, pending official approval by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Host India has been assigned a relatively easy group, while co-host Sri Lanka is expected to face a slightly tougher group. Pakistan is also included in India’s group. Competitions to be played in these cities
Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad will host matches in India, while Colombo and Kandy will host T20 World Cup matches in Sri Lanka. If Pakistan fails to reach the final, the final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
