Why was Shubman Gill left out?
Shubman Gill was not included in the squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. His fans are not happy with his exclusion. Gill is currently going through a poor form. This is why he has been left out of the 15-member squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma will open the innings for him in the World Cup. Furthermore, the BCCI announced that this same 15-member squad will also participate in the T20 series against New Zealand in January.
