Written examinations for recruitment of 1894 teachers in non-government aided junior high schools are expected to be done before UP-TET. Examination Regulatory Officer Office has to conduct both examinations. The proposal for the UP-TET has been sent to the government twice, but the approval has not been received. Meanwhile, in order of a case going on in the High Court, the government issued the executive instructions for the teacher recruitment examination on 18 January.
If sources are to be believed, the emphasis of the government is first to conduct teacher recruitment examination. If the mandate is issued before the notification of the panchayat election, the exam can be conducted in April-May. The examination institution has also sought guidance from the government on some points.
