Teachers Cashless Medical: The Yogi government has given a significant gift to teachers. Millions of teachers will receive cashless treatment at both government and private hospitals.
UP Teachers Cashless Medical: The Yogi government has given a major gift to teachers in Uttar Pradesh. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna stated that 30 proposals were decided upon after the cabinet meeting. Teachers in basic education schools will be provided cashless medical care. 11,95,391 teachers will receive cashless medical care. This will cost ₹358.61 crore. Teachers in the Secondary Education Department will also receive cashless medical care. Approximately 300,000 teachers will receive this benefit.
Facility for Secondary School Teachers
Minister Suresh Khanna said, “Today, the Council of Ministers has given its approval to provide cashless medical care to teachers in non-government-aided schools and self-financed secondary schools under the Secondary Education Department of Uttar Pradesh. This is the first time such medical care has been provided to them.”
These teachers will receive cashless treatment.
Secondary Education Minister (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi stated, “Teachers working in aided schools under the Secondary Education Department, including subject experts and honorary teachers in vocational education, teachers working in aided schools recognized by the Sanskrit Education Council, and teachers working in self-financed schools recognized by the Secondary Education Council and the Sanskrit Education Council will receive cashless medical treatment.”
Family members will also benefit.
He further stated, “Subject experts in vocational education working on honorarium in government and aided secondary schools of the Secondary Education Department and their dependent family members have been granted access to cashless IPD treatment in both government and private hospitals, in view of their health and safety.”
This includes 434,226 teachers under the Basic Education Council, 13,380 teachers working in non-government aided junior high schools of the Basic Education Department, 472,735 teachers in self-financed recognized schools, 142,929 Shiksha Mitras, 24,717 instructors in upper primary schools, 7,479 wardens, part-time, and full-time teachers in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, 97,344 cooks under the PM Poshan Yojana, and 2,581 special educators.
