The Supreme Court said – there should be no restriction on citizens seeking help on the Internet.

The bench said that the Center should adopt the national vaccination model as the poor man would not be able to pay for the vaccine.
The court asked- What will happen to the population of the marginalized people and the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes?

The Supreme Court on Friday said that citizens seeking help on the Internet should not be banned on the grounds that they are making a wrong complaint. The court said that the second wave of corona virus epidemic is a national crisis. A three-member bench of Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice L Nageswara Rao and Justice S Ravindra Bhat said, “There should be a smooth flow of information”.

The apex court directed the Center, the states and all the Directors General of Police that they should not take any action on the charge of spreading rumors on anyone who is posting on the internet related to lack of oxygen, beds and doctors. The Bench clearly stated that if action is taken on any such post of troubled citizens, we will consider it in contempt of court. The court remarked that even doctors and health workers working on the advance front are not getting beds in the hospital for treatment.

The bench said that the legacy of health infrastructure that we have received in 70 years is inadequate and the situation is bad. The apex court said that hostels, temples, churches and other places should be opened to make Kovid-19 patient care centers. The bench said that the Center should adopt the national vaccination model as the poor man would not be able to pay for the vaccine. The court asked, “What will happen to the marginalized people and SC / ST population?” Should they be left at the mercy of private hospitals? ”

The court said that the government should consider the national vaccination program for various vaccines and it should consider giving the vaccine to all the citizens free of cost. The bench said that the health sector is on the verge of collapse and in this crisis retired doctors and officers can be hired again. The apex court said that private vaccine producers should not be allowed to decide which state will get which dosage. The bench allowed the Center to present the power point on the preparations for the Kovid-19.
