Toll tax rates will increase from September 1 at Sarai Toll Plaza located on Delhi-Mathura Highway in Faridabad. NHAI has released the list of new rates. There is no change in one-time toll for car van and jeep but one rupee extra will be charged for multiple travel. This amendment in toll rates has been done by NHAI.
Crossing the Sarai toll on the Delhi-Mathura highway will become expensive after midnight of August 31, i.e. from September 1, 2025. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has revised the toll tax rates. The list of new rates has been sent to the toll management.
Which vehicles will be affected
According to the revised rates, there is no change in the toll tax for vehicles like cars, vans and jeeps that will pass through the toll once. However, vehicles that pass through the toll repeatedly will be charged an additional one rupee.
The rates for one-time and repeated movement have been increased for light commercial vehicles and heavy vehicles.
Rates are revised every year
The border of Faridabad district is adjacent to Delhi. Badarpur flyover has been built to travel to and from Delhi, toll tax has to be paid to cross it. Sarai toll is established in the district boundary. The toll management revises the toll rates every year in September.
There was no change in toll rates last year, but this time new rates are being implemented. NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that the toll tax rates have been revised, which will be effective from September 1, 2025.
