Train Cancellation: Nearly 4 dozen trains will remain cancelled till December 26, check the complete list before travelling.

Train Cancellation: Due to redevelopment work on platforms 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Ghaziabad Railway Station in the Delhi Division, passengers will face significant inconvenience for the next several days. The Railways has announced that from November 30th to December 26th, 2025, several trains will be cancelled, some will be extended, and the platforms of several trains will also be changed.

These changes are crucial for passengers who rely on these trains for daily commuting or intercity connections. This will be particularly significant on the Delhi–Ghaziabad–Saharanpur–Meerut route.

Which trains have been cancelled?

A total of 16 trains will be cancelled during the block period, from November 30 to December 16, and 32 trains from December 17 to December 26. This decision has been taken to ensure the safe and timely completion of redevelopment and blocking works.

The main cancelled trains are:

⦁ 64051 Palwal–Ghaziabad (November 30–December 15)
⦁ 64437 Ghaziabad–Delhi (December 1–16)
⦁ 64402 Delhi Junction–Shahibabad (December 1–16)
⦁ 64411 Sahibabad–New Delhi–Delhi Junction (December 1–16)
⦁ 64408 Delhi Junction–Ghaziabad (December 1–16)
⦁ 64906 Ghaziabad–Palwal (December 1–16)
⦁ 64419 Nizamuddin–Ghaziabad (December 1–15)
⦁ 64409 Ghaziabad–New Delhi (December 1–15)

After this, from December 17th –

⦁ 64428 New Delhi–Ghaziabad
⦁ 64431 Ghaziabad–New Delhi
⦁ 64432 New Delhi–Ghaziabad
⦁ 433 Ghaziabad–New Delhi
⦁ 64553 Moradabad–Ghaziabad
⦁ 64555 Ghaziabad–Meerut
⦁ 64556 Meerut–Ghaziabad
⦁ 64554 Ghaziabad–MB

One train was also extended.

Train No. 64426/64429, running between New Delhi and Ghaziabad, has been extended to Dadri from December 1st to December 15th. Train No. 64426 (New Delhi–Ghaziabad) will now continue to Dadri, and Train No. 64429 (Ghaziabad–New Delhi) will now continue from Dadri to New Delhi. There will be no change in the New Delhi–Ghaziabad journey, only the timings have changed for the extended distance.

Platforms for over 50 trains have been changed.

Due to the blockage of platforms 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Ghaziabad station, the platform (PF) of a large number of trains has been changed.

⦁ 15057/59 Shalimar Express – PF 5 (previously PF 4)
⦁ 14304 Haridwar–Delhi Express – PF 5
⦁ 12583 Double Decker – PF 5

Additionally, several trains have been shifted from platforms 3-4 to 5-6. These changes are crucial for daily commuters, as going to the wrong platform could result in missing a train.

Why is Ghaziabad being blocked?

Ghaziabad station is being upgraded with high-tech features, modern footover bridges, extended platforms, new sheds, and improved passenger amenities. This redevelopment is a major step towards making the station a smart junction in Delhi-NCR.
