New Delhi. Under Amrit Bharat Station, 1337 railway stations across the country are being redeveloped. This includes New Delhi station as well. The work of redeveloping it will start from next month. Due to this, trains are gradually being shifted to other stations. These trains will be run from other stations of the capital.
The railway administration is changing the stations of trains. Therefore, instead of New Delhi, some trains will end their journey at Anand Vihar Terminus station. Passengers should check the schedule of trains before leaving home.
These trains will be affected
Express trains like New Jalpaiguri, Amritsar-Saharsa etc. will be affected. According to the Railways, from August 19, 12523 New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Express will end its journey at Anand Vihar Terminus station instead of New Delhi. This train will reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 11.55 am. From August 20, 12524 New Delhi-New Jalaiguri Express will be run from Anand Vihar Terminus instead of New Delhi. This train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminus at 15.20.
From August 17, 12204 Amritsar-Saharsa Express will run via the diverted route Adarshnagar Delhi-Delhi Shahdara-Sahibabad instead of the scheduled route Adarshnagar Delhi-New Delhi-Tilak Bridge-Sahibabad. This train will reach Delhi station at 10.50 am and leave at 11.05 am. It will not stop at New Delhi station. From August 18, 12203 Saharsa-Amritsar Express will run via the diverted route Sahibabad-Delhi Shahdara-Delhi-Adarshnagar Delhi instead of the scheduled route Sahibabad-Tilak Bridge-New Delhi-Adarshnagar-Delhi. This train will reach Delhi station at 13.55 pm and leave at 14.10 pm. It will not stop at New Delhi station. Railways will gradually shift trains to other stations. Information will be issued as trains are shifted.
