Currently, a 3 percent bonus cashback is given on booking unreserved tickets through R-Wallet on the RailOne app. Now, starting January 14th, 2026, a three percent discount will be provided on booking unreserved tickets through all digital payment methods on the RailOne app.
According to Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the Ministry of Railways has decided to offer a three percent discount on booking unreserved railway tickets through all digital payment methods on the RailOne app, in order to promote digital booking. This arrangement will be applicable for booking unreserved tickets and making digital payments on RailOne app except R-Wallet.
A three percent bonus in the form of cashback will be applicable on all payment methods for booking unreserved tickets through the RailOne app using R-Wallet. Under the new decision, the three percent discount will be effective from January 14th to July 14th. The Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) will then review it and decide. If sufficient people benefit from it, it will be implemented permanently. This is why the six-month period has been set. Previously, discounts were available only through one method, but the Railways has decided to expand this to provide relief to as many people as possible.
