Disha Patani: The two shooters who fired shots at Disha Patani’s house have been killed. The incident took place in Bareilly early on the morning of March 20th, when a group of men opened fire at Patani’s residence around 3:45 a.m. Following this sensational crime, a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and the Delhi Police led to an encounter in Ghaziabad on Wednesday, during which two suspects were injured and arrested. Now, reports indicate that both injured suspects have died. According to police, these two suspects, identified as Ravindra alias Kallu and Arun, were active members of the Rohit Godara and Goldi Brar gangs. Ravindra and Arun were residents of Rohtak and Sonipat in Haryana. They had been involved in criminal activities in Bareilly and the surrounding areas for some time.

Both accused were identified through CCTV footage.

It is worth noting that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the attack on Disha Patani’s house and immediately ordered an investigation. The Uttar Pradesh government has a zero-tolerance policy towards crime. After reviewing CCTV footage and crime records from neighboring states, the two perpetrators were identified as Ravinder, son of Kalu, a resident of Kahni, Rohtak, and Arun, son of Rajendra, a resident of Indian Colony, Gohana Road, Sonipat.

Encounter takes place in Tronica City, Ghaziabad

On September 17, a joint team of the UP STF Noida unit and the Delhi Crime Investigation (CI) unit had an encounter with two criminals in Tronica City, Ghaziabad. Both criminals were critically injured in the encounter and were subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment. A Glock and a Zastava pistol, along with a large quantity of ammunition, were recovered from the scene.

Attack claimed responsibility in social media post

On the morning of September 12, two men on a motorcycle opened fire outside Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly. However, no one was injured in the incident. Later, a social media post, purportedly from associates of gangster Goldi Brar, claimed responsibility for the attack. The post was removed on the morning of September 13, and the account was also deleted by evening.

Alleged motive: Revenge for comments against Premnand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj

The social media post alleged that the shooting was an act of revenge for derogatory comments made by Disha Patani’s sister, Khushboo, against spiritual gurus Premnand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. The post warned that this was just a “trailer” and more violence was to come.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath promises security

After the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke with Disha’s father, retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagdish Singh Patni, and assured him that the police would take steps to ensure their safety.

Gangster claimed responsibility for attack in social media post

Gangster Goldi Brar claimed responsibility for the attack. In a post on social media, he stated that the attack was a response to the criticism of spiritual figures by Khushboo Patni. The post read, “Jai Shri Ram to all brothers. I am Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana). Brothers, the firing that took place today at the house of Khushboo Patni/Disha Patni (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh) was carried out by us. She insulted our revered saints, Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect to our religion, no one in her house will be left alive. This message is not only for her, but for all the actors and those associated with the film industry.”

Khushboo had responded to Aniruddhacharya’s statement

In a video that surfaced online, Khushboo criticized Aniruddhacharya. Aniruddhacharya had made some comments about women in live-in relationships. He reportedly said that unmarried women over 25 years of age have usually been in multiple relationships. He had said that girls should be married as soon as possible, otherwise they “mess around with four men.” Reacting to this, Khushboo had said, “Do they ‘mess around with men’?” If he were in front of me, I would explain to him what ‘messing around’ means. I would explain it to him clearly. These are traitors; you should never support such a low-character person.”
