The aim of the government is that students can prepare for the examinations using digital resources. The government has made a provision of Rs 20 crore in the budget for the purchase of the tablet. The government will decide an eligibility criterion to shortlist the students.
Ranjan Kumar, Lucknow’s divisional commissioner and a member of the committee formed to implement the ‘Abhyuday Scheme’, said, “The eligibility criterion for selection for students will be released soon.”

At present, about five lakh students of various competitive examinations are already taking advantage of the ‘Abhyudaya’ scheme. ”
