UP Weather: Residents of Uttar Pradesh, already grappling with the impact of unseasonal weather, will find no immediate relief. They may once again have to face the vagaries of the weather. The Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds, rain, and hailstorms from April 7 to April 9. Consequently, an Orange Alert has been issued across the entire state.
According to the Meteorological Department, a significant change in weather patterns is expected across the state due to the influence of an active Western Disturbance. A spell of rainfall is set to commence in Western Uttar Pradesh on April 7, with its impact extending to the eastern parts of the state by April 9. During this period, there is a likelihood of strong winds blowing at speeds of 40 to 60 km per hour, accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstorms, across several districts. On April 8, temperatures could drop by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius, although a subsequent rise is anticipated thereafter. The impact of hailstorms and strong winds is expected to be particularly pronounced in several districts of Western and Central Uttar Pradesh.
