UP Weather: February heat wave brings sweat, temperature rises rapidly to cross 33 degrees

UP Weather: The heat in UP has started making people sweat in February itself. On Friday, the day temperature crossed 33 degrees. Air conditioners have started running even before March. There is a need to run fans even at night. The maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 33.1 degrees Celsius. Due to clear skies in the afternoon, hot winds also blew. Here, the night temperature also increased by 0.1 degrees from normal and was recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius. This has increased the heat in closed places.

The heat is beginning to take its toll, heating up walls and roofs due to the intense afternoon sun. According to the Meteorological Department, dusty surface winds will blow from March 1st to 3rd. During this time, temperatures may rise by one to three degrees Celsius. However, a further increase in temperatures will begin from March 4th. Temperatures may reach 35 degrees Celsius or even higher in the first week of March.

As the weather becomes dry, the heat is starting to show its effect. The effect of western disturbance is over now. The movement of clouds has also stopped. Due to which the maximum temperature crossed 33 degrees on Friday. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the area will increase further till Holi. According to weather experts, the mood of the weather is changing rapidly. In the last days of February itself, people are facing dual weather. While the harsh attitude of the sun is making people sweat during the day, there is still a feeling of mild cold during the night and morning.

Mercury will rise in early March

A significant difference is being observed between day and night temperatures. This significant difference of approximately 18 degrees between day and night temperatures has increased the risk of seasonal illnesses. People are now abandoning warm clothing and wearing cotton and light clothing. Weather experts predict that the heat will increase further in the coming days, and temperatures could reach 34 degrees by early March.

Given these fluctuations in temperature, health experts have advised people to maintain a balance between cold and warm environments. A new Western Disturbance is expected to become active in the Himalayan region starting March 2nd. During this period, cloud cover may increase again. However, the next three days will see clear weather and a rise in temperatures.
