Urban Housing Scheme: The deadline for booking flats under the Chief Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme in Gurugram has been extended to February 6. This decision was made to provide affordable housing to eligible families from economically weaker sections. Nodal officer ADC Sonu Bhatt said that of the 4,728 eligible applicants, approximately 1,500 have not yet booked, and they have been given additional time.
Urban Housing Scheme: In order to provide affordable housing to eligible families from the economically weaker section under the Chief Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme, the last date for booking flats in Gurugram district has been extended by two days to February 6.
ADC Sonu Bhatt, the nodal officer of the scheme, said that a total of 12,384 applications were received from the corporation area under the Chief Minister’s Urban Housing Scheme, out of which 4,728 applications were found eligible in the first phase of verification process. Only those families who were found eligible in the first phase of verification can apply for flat booking.
Eligible applicants were required to submit the booking amount of ₹10,000 and the required affidavit by February 4th. However, approximately 1,500 eligible applicants have not yet made their bookings. Therefore, the booking date has been extended to February 6th, giving them additional time.
Applicants who fail to submit the booking amount and affidavit by the deadline will be automatically considered cancelled and will not be included in the further process.
