Gujarat News: Indian Railways has launched two new express trains in Gujarat, including Vande Bharat Express. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged them off through video conferencing.
New Delhi. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers of Gujarat, Indian Railways has decided to start two new express trains. One of these is the Vande Bharat Express train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off both these trains through video conferencing during a program organized in Dahod.
This high-speed train will be run under train number 26901 and will run six days a week. It will not operate every Thursday. The train will leave Sabarmati station at 5:25 am every day and will reach Veraval at 12:25 pm via stations like Chandlodia, Viramgam, Rajkot and Junagadh.
In the return direction, this train will leave Veraval at 2:40 pm every day under train number 26902 and will reach Sabarmati station at 9:35 pm via Junagadh, Rajkot, Viramgam. At present, development work is going on at Chandlodia station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. As soon as this work is completed, the stoppage of this Vande Bharat Express will be started there also.
The second train is Valsad-Dahod Express being run under train number 19011. This train will depart from Valsad every day at 5:15 am and will reach Dahod at 11:05 am via Bilimora, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara and Godhra.
On the return journey, this train will depart from Dahod at 11:55 am and reach Valsad station at 8:05 pm. This train will have a total of 17 coaches. It will include one executive class, four third AC, ten second class coaches and two guard cum parcel vans. Special arrangements have been made for the seating of Divyang passengers in one guard van. With the introduction of these two new trains, the passengers of Gujarat will get a better, faster and convenient travel experience.
