Vande Bharat Express train running between Delhi-Dehradun will remain cancelled from Monday to Wednesday. Shatabdi Express will come till Saharanpur and return from there. Passengers may face problems.
Vande Bharat Express cancelled: Big update has come for the railway passengers traveling by train in Delhi-NCR, UP, Rajasthan, MP and other states. The operation of 20 trains will be completely halted for the next three days from July 1. Whereas, some trains have also been diverted.
In such a situation, passengers traveling long distances are appealed to definitely check the time table of the train. Vande Bharat Express train running between Delhi-Dehradun will remain canceled from Monday to Wednesday. On the other hand, Shatabdi Express will come till Saharanpur and will return from there.
The decision to cancel the trains has been taken due to interlocking work at Roorkee station. Dehradun Railway Station Superintendent Ravindra Kumar said on Sunday that the Railways has canceled some trains of Dehradun, Haridwar and Rishikesh for interlocking work at Roorkee station.
The passenger train running between Dehradun-Saharanpur has been canceled since June 27. He said that Vande Bharat Express running between Delhi-Dehradun will also not run from Monday to Wednesday. Shatabdi Express coming from Delhi to Dehradun will also come to Saharanpur from Monday and will return from there.
He said that all trains will run normally from July 4. Repair work is being done at a fast pace so that rail passengers face minimum inconvenience.
Long distance passengers will face more trouble
Rail passengers coming and going from UP, Bihar, Rajasthan will face the most problems. If trains are cancelled or diverted, now rail passengers will have to consider other options. Passengers will have to change their travel schedule or after travelling half way, they will have to use the road to reach their destination.
