Vande Bharat Express Trains: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously in his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on November 8th at around 8:15 am. These four new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Varanasi and Khajuraho, Lucknow and Saharanpur, Firozpur and Delhi, and Ernakulam and Bengaluru. These new trains will reduce travel time between key destinations in the country and enhance regional mobility, boosting tourism and economic activity across the country.
New train will connect Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho
The Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will establish direct connectivity on this route, saving approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to the currently operating special trains. The Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will connect some of India’s most revered religious and cultural destinations, including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho.
What will be the route of the Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express?
The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will travel in approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes, saving approximately 1 hour of travel time. The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will significantly benefit passengers from Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor, and Saharanpur, and will also improve their access to Haridwar via Roorkee.
The fastest train will run on the Firozpur-Delhi route.
The Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will be the fastest train on this route, completing its journey in just 6 hours and 40 minutes. The Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will strengthen connectivity between the national capital and major Punjab cities like Firozpur, Bathinda, and Patiala.
The Ernakulam-Bengaluru route will see a 2-hour savings.
In South India, the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will reduce travel time by more than 2 hours, completing the journey in 8 hours and 40 minutes. The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect major IT and commercial centers, providing faster and more comfortable travel options for professionals, students, and tourists. This route will boost economic activity and tourism between Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, promoting regional development and cooperation.
