Indian Railways Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Preparations to start the sleeper version of Vande Bharat from Bhopal are in the final stage. Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said that the first batch of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will reach Bhopal by the end of November. Its trial will be done by the last week of November. Two types of racks are being brought for this.
The first train will have 8 coaches
The first train will be a Vande Bharat seating train with eight coaches. The second Vande Bharat sleeper will have 20 coaches. Another Vande Bharat sleeper running between Delhi and Mumbai will also go via Bhopal. A 20 coach Vande Bharat sleeper will be operated between Rani Kamlapati and Pataliputra (Patna). An eight coach seating Vande Bharat will be operated between Bhopal and Lucknow.
The Lucknow Vande Bharat rack is going to be available by the last week of November. After which the train can be operated in the second week of December.

Senior divisional commercial manager Saurabh Kataria said that Bhopal division is going to get two Vande Bharat Express racks. Which will be run between Lucknow and Pataliputra.
Orders given regarding preparation
The officials of Bhopal division have received orders and instructions to make preparations regarding sleeper Vande Bharat. A team will be formed by the division for this. This team will also include the train’s pilot, guard and maintenance staff. RKMP-Patliputra Sleeper Vande Bharat Express will be a train of Bhopal Railway Division.
This could be the schedule
Vande Bharat Sleeper train is expected to depart from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station around 5 pm. This train will reach Patliputra around 11 am the next day. Similarly, Sleeper Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance of 1005 km from RKMP station to Patliputra station in about 18 hours. The speed of this train will be more than 160 km.
When will the train run
According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, Bhopal division is going to get two Vande Bharat Express racks. These will be run between Lucknow and Patliputra. But no definite date has been fixed for this yet. But the rack will be brought by the end of November. After this, a week’s trial and then operations will be started.
