Vande Bharat Train: Passengers are going to get a big gift from August 10. Railways will start 3 new Vande Bharat trains from this day. If you are planning to travel by these trains, then check the train time, date and ticket price before that.
To make India’s rail travel more fast and comfortable, three new Vande Bharat Express trains are going to be launched on 10 August 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains virtually. These trains will run on three different routes.
Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Bengaluru to Belgaum and Pune to Ajni (Nagpur). With the introduction of these trains, the total number of Vande Bharat trains in the country will increase from 147 to 150.
The first train will run between Amritsar and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This train will run six days a week, except Tuesday. Train number 26406 will leave from Katra at 6:40 am and reach Amritsar at 12:20 pm. It will stop at stations like Jammu, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar City and Vyas. On the return, train number 26405 will leave from Amritsar at 4:25 pm and reach Katra at 10 pm.
This train will greatly benefit the pilgrims going to Vaishno Devi, as it will provide a fast and comfortable journey. Uchit Singhal, Senior Commercial Manager of Jammu Division, said that this train will give a better experience to the passengers.
The second train will run between Bengaluru and Belgaum. This train will leave from Belgaum at 5:20 am and reach Bengaluru at 1:50 pm. On the return journey, it will leave from Bengaluru at 2:20 pm and reach Belgaum at 10:40 pm. At present, the ticket price of the trains has not been officially announced.
This train will also run six days a week. Its final timetable is yet to be decided, but it will be very beneficial for businessmen and IT professionals as it will further strengthen the connectivity between the two cities.
The third train will run between Pune and Ajni (Nagpur). This train will run three days a week and will cover the distance of more than 850 km in less than 12 hours. This train will start from Ajni railway station and end at Hadapsar station in Pune. This will make travel between the two cities easier and faster.
These new trains will give passengers a fast, comfortable and modern experience. Vande Bharat trains are known for their speed and facilities like automatic doors, reclining seats, GPS system and Wi-Fi, etc.
However, there are some infrastructure deficiencies at Ajni station, such as lack of adequate shed on the platform, but the railways are trying to fix it soon. All these trains will not only save time but will also make the journey more pleasant. This step of the railways is a big effort towards improving the rail connectivity of the country.
