Meanwhile, instructions have been issued to the farmers who have given their land for the construction of Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway. The construction work on the acquired land for the construction of Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Greenfield Expressway and the process of compensation payment has also been expedited. In such a situation, the farmers have been instructed not to plant the upcoming paddy crop on the acquired land. So that the construction work is not affected in any way and the farmers do not have to suffer any financial loss.

According to the information, it was observed by the District Land Acquisition Officer that the peasants who gave land for the expressway are busy preparing paddy crop. Whereas, that land has been acquired for the Bharatmala project and work has also started on it. Due to the production of the crop, the construction work of the expressway will be hindered, the peasants will suffer financial loss and along with this, they may have to face confusion in the compensation process. Assessing all these circumstances, an order has already been issued for the peasants.
Order to make the peasants aware
According to the news, the District Land Acquisition Officer has issued an order to the District Agriculture Officer, Block Agriculture Officer, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer and all the concerned Zonal Officers regarding this issue. It has been said to make the peasants aware. It was said that the peasants should be explained that farming on the land acquired for the project will only cause them loss. Let us tell you that the officials of the Agriculture Department and the Revenue Department have been instructed to run awareness campaigns in coordination.
