These devices have already been spotted available for pre-order on several major Chinese retail platforms. Meanwhile, some Chinese tech bloggers have significantly increased users’ excitement by sharing details of the upcoming phones’ configurations, colors, and hardware.
RAM, Storage, and Color Variants
According to reports, the Vivo S50 will come in four variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The phone will be available in three color options: Space Black, Confession White, Siren Blue, and Inspirational Purple. As for the S50 Pro Mini, it will come in three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. It will enter the market in Space Black, Confession White, and Inspirational Purple color variants.
The phone may come with these features
According to leaks, the Vivo S50 may feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The phone is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. The phone’s battery is expected to be 6500mAh and support 90W fast charging. For photography, it could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera.
Regarding the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, leaks suggest it will feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K display. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The phone’s battery is expected to be 6500mAh, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. For photography, the phone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera.
Both Vivo phones are expected to feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Their selfie camera could be 50 megapixels. The company could also offer a 50 megapixel periscope camera on the rear. Regarding the operating system, the phone will run on Origin OS 6 based on Android 16. The company is expected to launch this phone with an aerospace-grade metal frame. For biometric security, it could be rated IP68/69 for dust and water resistance.
