Rajasthan Weather Update: Due to the effect of western disturbance, a big change in the weather will be seen in the next 24 hours. Due to this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, storms and rain in Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions along with clouds in the south-eastern parts. On April 5, the maximum temperature in Barmer, Jaisalmer and surrounding areas is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius.
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of rain at some places in eastern Rajasthan with thunderstorms and strong winds (40-50Kmph) on Thursday, April. There will be a rise in temperature and a period of heatwave in Barmer, Jaisalmer area from April 5. In the coming 3 to 4 days, the minimum and maximum temperature in the state may increase by 3 to 5 degrees. In the month of April, the maximum temperature in the southern parts of the state is likely to be above normal and the minimum temperature is likely to be above normal in most parts.
Rain alert in these districts on Thursday
Cloud and light rain warning has been issued in Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions. On Thursday, April 3, a warning has been issued for strong thunderstorms, rain and lightning in 14 districts of the state, namely Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar and Tonk.

In the last 48 hours, the temperature has increased by three to five degrees Celsius in most parts of the state. During this period, the highest temperature was recorded in Barmer at 39.4 degrees Celsius, 1.6 degrees above normal. The lowest minimum temperature of 11.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Pali and Fatehpur Sikar.
