Heavy rain in South and Northeast India

Apart from this, heavy rain and strong winds are also expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam-Rayalaseema for the next 5 days. At the same time, heavy rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya between 6-11 September 2025 in Northeast India. Heavy rain is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till 6-7 December. Heavy rain alert has also been issued in Arunachal Pradesh till 6-9 September 2025.
