According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the states of Northeast India like Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya for the next few days. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Sikkim on 10 September, Arunachal and Assam-Meghalaya on 12-14 September 2025, Nagaland-Manipur on 11-12 September 2025. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued for heavy rain in Odisha on 11-12 September 2025.
