Windows 11 update: Just days after the demise of Windows 10, Microsoft has released a new update for the Windows 11 operating system. This time, the company has brought some very promising artificial intelligence features that will definitely improve the user experience. Microsoft claims that with this update, all PCs running Windows 11 will become AI PCs. And yes, this update will make Copilot even better.
Windows 11 new features: Hey Copilot, new features and more
Microsoft is making the experience conversational, as users can now activate its AI assistant by simply saying “Hey Copilot.” Users will need to enable this feature to use it, as it will automatically turn off. Once activated, users will see a small microphone icon on the screen accompanied by a chime sound, meaning Copilot is ready to listen and respond.
Additionally, we also see a ‘Goodbye’ command that politely ends a user’s session with the AI model. You can also manually disable it on your system.
Not only that, but Copilot is also getting a vision this time around. The AI model can now analyze what’s in front of it and then provide relevant details. For example, you can ask Copilot to review a presentation you’re working on, and it will come up with solutions for formatting issues, resizing, and more. This feature will also help with tasks like gaming, travel planning, and photo editing.
Additionally, Windows Insiders will also receive an Ask Copilot button, allowing them to access both Copilot Voice and Vision with a single click. However, Copilot Actions is arguably the most significant update. With this feature, users will be able to experience agentic capabilities on their PCs. It will soon be available to the general public.
