Maiya Samman Yojana: The Jharkhand government has launched the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana to empower women financially and make them self-reliant. Under this scheme, eligible women in the state are provided financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month directly into their bank accounts. The Jharkhand government is taking a major step towards further strengthening the financial well-being of women under the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana. Over 5.1 million women beneficiaries of the scheme will now receive loans of up to ₹20,000 from banks without any guarantee.

According to media reports, a meeting has already been held between the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) and the state government, and this proposal has been agreed upon. Under this scheme, women between the ages of 18 and 50 will be able to obtain loans to start small businesses without any guarantee. The loan installments will be deducted from the monthly amount of ₹2,500 women receive.

Women will receive ₹2,500 before Holi.

The next installment of the Mukhyamantri Maiyaan Samman Yojana will be transferred to the accounts of female beneficiaries before Holi. Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, and Backward Class Welfare Minister Chamara Linda announced this. He further stated that many ineligible women have enrolled under the scheme. Such cases are being identified and removed from the list. Beneficiary women who have not received the previous installment will receive ₹5,000 for both installments.

The Mainiya Samman Yojana is a special scheme of the Jharkhand government designed to provide financial assistance to women. Its aim is to empower women financially, increase their participation in family and society, and empower them with self-reliance. This scheme was launched in 2024 by the Hemant Soren government. Under the scheme, eligible women receive ₹2,500 per month directly into their bank accounts. According to election experts, this scheme played a major role in the JMM alliance’s landslide victory in the 2024 assembly elections. For this reason, Chief Minister Hemant Soren personally monitors the scheme and ensures no laxity in its implementation.

How to Benefit from the Maiyaan Samman Yojana

All eligible women are required to complete Aadhaar seeding to benefit from the Maiyaan Samman Yojana. Aadhaar seeding requires linking your bank account to Aadhaar. For this, you can visit your bank and fill out the Aadhaar seeding form. Camps are also being organized at the Gram Panchayat level. E-KYC is also required to benefit from the Maiyaan Samman Yojana. If you haven’t completed your e-KYC yet, do so soon. Without e-KYC, the scheme funds will not be credited to your account.

Only these women will receive funds.

Only women residing in Jharkhand will be eligible for the Maiyaan Samman Yojana.

Women must be over 18 years of age and under 50 years of age.

Ration card holders from Jharkhand state (green, yellow, pink, or white ration cards) are eligible.

If your name is not on the Mainiya Samman Yojana list, the money will not be credited to your account. To check your name, visit the scheme’s official website, mmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in. Enter your account details. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number, verify it. If your name is on the list, the status will be displayed.

Search directly by name

Open the mmmsy.jharkhand.gov.in website on your mobile or computer. Then click the Search Beneficiary by Name option. Type your full name as per Aadhaar. Select the district. Enter your mobile number or Aadhaar number, fill in the Captcha. Click the Search button. If your name is listed, the complete information will appear on the screen.
