Yogi government order: September to December will not get allowance, MDM will be served again in schools

Mid-day meal will also be served in schools opening from 10 February and 1 March in UP. At the same time, the UP government has imposed a ban on the change cost of MDM from September 1 to December 31 in the parent’s account. Due to budget constraints, this amount will be spent on the MDM to be built in schools. Mid Day Meal Authority director Vijay Kiran Anand has issued the order.

So far, from March to 31 August, 125 days food security allowance has reached the account of the parents of the children and food grains have been given from the ration shops. A proposal to provide 94 days food security allowance from September 1 to December 31 has been sent to the government in the past but now it has been postponed. In fact, the central government gives the budget only on the basis of the number of children present and only 50 to 60 per cent of the children in UP come to school, whereas the food security allowance was given to the parents of all the enrolled children. Hence the demand for additional budget of Rs 75995 lakh has been sent to the center.

Instructions have been issued to deliver food grains for 24 days in schools and mid- day for 37 days in junior schools and 37 days in junior schools. The task force will conduct regular inspections and follow the protocol of Kovid 19. Conversion cost will be sent on the basis of 50 per cent of enrollment. At the same time, the lifting of food grains will also be done in a time bound manner. This will be done on the basis of preference. At the same time, the state government has also instructed 50 percent students to call the school.

Taskforce will first inspect remote

schools, before the opening of the schools, the task force of district and block level officials will be cleaned, checking the availability of LPG in schools, knob-regulator or leakage etc. Roster-wise inspection should be done first and then to distant schools and later to the schools around the city. The school premises should be cleaned daily. Only masks should be allowed to be removed at MDM account. Children should be seated at a distance of six feet. There are instructions for drying in air rather than wiping it with a cloth after washing hands. Vegetable peels and other garbage should be thrown in the lid..
