Board Exam Postponed: 12th board examinations have been postponed in Tamil Nadu. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of Corona.
The Tamil Nadu government has decided to postpone the exams for class 12 amidst growing cases of corona in the state. The government has announced to postpone the 12th examinations, impose a complete lockdown on every Sunday and impose a night curfew from 10 am to 4 pm from 20 April. The government made these announcements after a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister K Palaniswami here to review the situation of Kovid-19 in the state.
An official government release said that the 12th class examinations have been postponed, but practical examinations will be conducted as per the plan. The government had planned to conduct 12th examinations from May 3 to May 21.
Here 10th examinations are canceled, 12th is postponed
Uttarakhand Board has canceled the 10th board examinations. At the same time, the board examination of 12th has been postponed. Considering the rapid increase in Corona cases, the process of cancellation and postponement of examinations continues. Due to the increasing cases of Corona, the Uttarakhand government has also canceled the 10th board examination, while the 12th board examinations have been postponed.
The decision regarding the 12th board examination will be taken after June 1, 2021, depending on the circumstances. According to the Health Department in Uttarakhand, a total of 52,301 sample reports have been received from private and government labs. Of these, 49,544 reports are negative.
