According to the National Council of JCM, the central government may soon give an increase of salary to the central employees. This will provide relief in the Karona era.

Central employees may soon get a good news in this difficult period of Corona period. Under the Seventh Pay Commission, Dearness Allowance (Dearness Allowance) for government employees can be increased. According to the National Council of JCM, DA may be increased from June 2021 or later. It is expected that this year the Dearness Allowance of employees can be increased by 4 percent.

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, Staff Side Secretary, National Council of JCM, the council is constantly talking to the Finance Department’s Department of Expenditure (DoE) and Department of Personnel (DoPT) about this. The decision was deferred for a month due to the rising outbreak of the second wave of Corona, but it is now believed that the DA of employees and the DR of pensioners will be increased from June or beyond.

Dearness allowance can be available in three installments
According to the Mint report, Shiv Gopal Mishra says that given the average inflation rate, the basic salary can be at least 4%. Also, this time dearness allowance can be given to employees in three installments. The Joint Council and the concerned officials of the Central Government are in constant contact about this, it will be discussed soon.

Relief in LTC
Recently, the government gave huge relief to the Central employees under the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) under the LTC scheme. The government has extended the last date of this special cash package scheme to 31 May. In this case, you will get extra time to deposit the bill. It is known that in this scheme, central employees get tax exemption on the cost of two trips between four calendar years (January to December). Other facilities are also available as well. This scheme was launched by the central government last year. Its purpose was to inspire people for travel.
