Online window launched for Appraisal

The HR-Soft online window of the Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR) module has been launched by EPFO. This window is open for Group A, Group B and Group C employees. By going to this window, all the central employees will have to file their review and report. This appraisal process has to be completed by December 31.

Appraisal was postponed twice

Earlier, the annual appraisal of the financial year 2020-21 was postponed further due to Corona virus. The Department of Personal Training (DoPT) had issued an order in this regard on April 14, 2021, according to which the date of submission of Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR) of Group A, B and C of CSS, CSSS and CSCS cadre is December 31. It has been extended till 2021. According to the order, those who have retired on February 28, 2021, will also get the benefit. Although even before this, the APAR of central employees for the financial year 2019-20 was pushed forward, then it was postponed till March 2021. Whereas the date of completion of this was 31 December 2020.

Appraisal window open

According to Harishankar Tiwari, former President of Civil Accounts Brotherhood AG UP, the window of APAR has now opened. It will be received as arrears from the date on which it is due. The same is true about pensioners that those who are retiring are being given provisional pension. When a government employee retires, he gets provisional pension. This pension is made according to his last salary. However, there is not much difference between actual pension and provisional pension.

Process to be completed by 31st December

According to the order of the Department of Personal Training, the work of distribution of blank forms / generation of APAR was to be completed by 31 May 2021. After this, by June 30, the employees have to submit the report of self-appraisal to the officer. After this it will go to the review officer and through all the procedures, this appraisal process has to be completed by 31st December.

Dearness allowance and arrears from July 1

More than 50 lakh central employees will start getting their increased dearness allowance (DA) on July 1, but there is still doubt about their DA arrears to central employees. The employees are expected that the government will also pay their withheld three dearness allowances from July 1. Quoting sources, it has been learned that the central government can start giving dearness allowance to the employees from July 1, 2021, but this allowance will not be given from the previous date, the allowance which will be made after July will be given. That is, the employees will not get the arrears of the previous months.

Waiting for three DA arrears

Three installments of dearness allowance of employees (1 January-2020, 1 July-2020 and 1 January-2021) were frozen. Employees are getting 17% dearness allowance from July, 2019, because after that the next increase was to take place on January 1, 2020, which was frozen. That is, there has been no change in the dearness allowance of the employees for one and a half years, while it is amended every 6 months. Central employees are expected that the central government will also add their previous dearness allowances (DA) from July 1, for this a meeting was to be held in the month of May, but due to the coronavirus epidemic, it is now expected that This meeting can happen this month.
