Improvement in fitment factor soon

At present the fitment factor of government employees is 2.57 percent. If the fitment factor is increased to 3.68, the basic pay of the employees will be Rs.26,000. Now if your minimum salary is Rs 18,000, then excluding allowance you will get Rs 46,260 as per 2.57 fitment factor (18,000 X 2.57 = 46,260). Now if the fitment factor is 3.68 then your salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000X3.68 = 95,680).

Demand of employees to increase the fitment factor

Government employees are constantly demanding to increase the fitment factor. With increase in fitment factor, his basic salary will be Rs 26,000 from Rs 18,000. The salary of the employees will be directly increased by Rs.8,000. With the increase in basic pay, allowances related to dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance etc. will also increase as they are also available only on basic pay.

DA hike possible in July

The month of July can bring good news for central government employees. Because Dearness Allowance (DA) may increase by 3 to 4 percent. The government is considering increasing the DA from the current 45 percent to 46 percent. If this decision is implemented, the salary of the employees will obviously increase.
