Due to the Corona period, the fearlessness allowance of central employees has not increased since last year. Now this year travel allowance will not be extended. This can frustrate employees.
Recently, it was decided not to increase Dearness Allowance of Central employees in July this year. Due to this, lakhs of pensioners, including government employees, were very disappointed. But now they may get another blow. According to sources, this time Travel Allowance (TA) will also not be increased.
Several media reports claimed that as per the pay matrix calculation of the 7th Pay Commission, the DA of employees is only 17 per cent in July 2021, so TA will not be increased this year. In this regard, Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary, Staff Side in the National Council JCM, says, “The TA of Central Government employees increases only if DA is 25% or more.
These things get fare including movement and transportation
As a travel allowance, central employees get rupees for living in hotels or guest houses, taxi expenses and food bills etc. Travel allowances also include the fare paid for travel by road, air, rail, and sea.
Employees disappointed due to no increase
It may be known that due to the corona epidemic, the benefit of DA received by the central government to the government employees was stopped from the month of January last year. But it was to be resumed from July. This was further strengthened by the reply of Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur. It was believed that with the increase in DA in July, the previous dues will also be given. This will increase the existing DA from 17 percent to 28 percent. However, some time ago, the government issued a statement that this year also no increase in DA will be done.
