How much vacancy
UPSC has invited applications for the vacant posts of Data Processing Assistant in the Information Technology Department. There are a total of 116 vacancies.

Reserved seats
The UPSC has reserved 20 seats for Scheduled Caste. 9 seats for Scheduled Tribes, 22 for OBC, 12 seats for EWS i.e. Economically Weaker Section. 52 seats are for unreserved category candidates. Apart from this, the UPSC has kept 5 seats for candidates of handicapped category.
pay scale
Salary will be given on the basis of 7th Pay Commission for this post. Selected candidates will get salary from Rs 44900 to Rs 1,42,000 per month. Apart from salary, they will also get many more allowances.
Age Range
The maximum age of the applicant for the post of UPSC Data Processing Assistant has been fixed at 30 years. The relaxation in this age limit will be given as per the rules of UPSC and the government.
Eligibility and criteria
Educational: Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Science from a recognized University / Institute
