7th Pay Commission: Modi government took this important decision, its direct impact on central employees

According to the 7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC Latest News, Central Government Employees: Guidelines, only 50 percent of the level of Under Secretary and below will have to be present in the office. The working hours of the officers have been done from 9 am to 5.30 pm, 9.30 am to 6 pm and 10 am to 6.30 pm respectively.


7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC Latest News, Central Government Employees: Amidst growing cases of corona across the country, a new guideline has been issued regarding working hours and physical attendance of central employees. Special guidelines have been issued in the guidelines for deputy secretary and its equivalent staff.

Along with this, this guideline is also applicable to the post above deputy secretary. The guideline states that employees working as deputy secretary and its equivalent posts and posts above deputy secretary will have to come to the office as before.

According to the guidelines, only 50 percent of the personnel of the level of Under Secretary and below will have to be present in the office. The working hours of the officers have been done from 9 am to 5.30 pm, 9.30 am to 6 pm and 10 am to 6.30 pm respectively.

According to the guidelines, Divyang and pregnant women employees are exempted from going to office, but they should continue to work from home till further orders. According to Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh, this guideline has been issued due to Corona crisis, which is in force till April 30, 2021.

Recently, the employees have been given relief on dearness allowance (DA). According to the Finance Ministry, the beneficiaries will get full benefit of DA from July 1. Payment of the pending three installments of DA will commence from July 1, 2021. The dearness allowance of employees has been held up since last year due to the Corona crisis.
